Teen Sleep Study

Disrupted sleep patterns are often present in individuals who experience suicidal ideation. This relationship may be especially important during adolescence. Our group is investigating the relationship between sleep, mood, and thoughts about suicide. If you are a teenager who thinks about suicide, you might be eligible to participate. Participants will wear an actigraph (a small device that looks like a fitbit) for 9 days. They will also complete daily logs about sleep, mood, and suicidal ideation.

Eligible participants will receive personalized information about their sleep patterns, including a full sleep study (polysomnography). Participants will also receive tailored advice to improve their sleep habits. Participants will be compensated up to $225 for completing the study
